About Gökhan!

I was graduated from Gazi University, Department of Physics in 2010. Then, I completed my master of science studies about two dimensional electron gas (2DEG) properties and electrical characteristics in AlGaN/GaN and InAlN/GaN High Electron Mobility Transistor (HEMT) structures at Lisesivdin Research Group in 2012. My thesis work consists of the investigation of 2DEG properties and current-voltage characteristics of AlQN/AlN/GaN/InGaN/GaN/AlGaN/AlN/GaN (Q=Ga,In) hetero-structures based InGaN/GaN multiple quantum well with AlGaN and InAlN barrier. In except my thesis work, I performed magnetoconductivity measurements of III-V group semiconductors, graphene samples using Hall Effect and I worked on investigation of scattering mechanisms of epitaxially grown graphene samples on SiC, 2DEG properties of ZnO based heterostructures. Since 2013, I’m working as a full time PhD student researcher under the supervisor of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sefer Bora Lişesivdin at Lisesivdin Research Group (LRG) in Gazi University. In doctorate studies, I investigate effect of in situ Si3N4 surface passivation on two dimensional electron gas in AlGaN/GaN heterostructures grown by Molecular Beam Epitaxy. This thesis work is supported by TUBITAK under Project no. 113F364. Our project is an international collaboration project. We are collaborating with the Rzhanov Institute of Semiconductor in Russia. I went to International Laboratory of High Magnetic Fields and Low Temperatures (Wroclaw, Poland) as a visiting research student with a TUBITAK scholarship for a 3 three weeks period in February, 2015. As March 2015, I have 7 SCI articles and 30 proceedings in my field.
